HOW TO CHECK WHETHER YOUR ANDROID PHONE IS ROOTED

How to check whether your Android device is rooted? The question may seems like silly but it's not so. There are situations where you may want to check if your Android device is rooted. For example, if you are buying an used phone then you may want to check the device because rooting has its own advantages and disadvantages. If you just tried to root your device then also you may need to check root status to verify whether your rooting was successful.

Unlike rooting, checking the root status is a simple process. You just need to download and install any root checking app from the Google PlayStore. I recommend you to use Root Checker app. The app has a simple interface and it easily tell you whether your phone is rooted or not. This app tests your Android phone for root access by verifying availability and proper functioning of su binary.

NBIf the Superuser or SuperSU applications are set up and working properly, these applications will prompt the user to accept or deny the root access request from Root Checker. Accepting the request will allow Root Checker to check for root access and refusing the request will result in Root Checker reporting no root access.
